You will learn four stitching methods to create four different structures, moving from easy to more complex. The focus will be on learning techniques. One book will have content and the other three will be blank books with empty pages for you to fill at your leisure outside of class or to give as gifts. You will learn about paper properties, different adhesives, and how to design a book of your own.
Book samples you will make:

- Dos-à-Dos Pamphlet Binding with pop-ups

- Japanese Bound Book (AKA Side-Sewn or Stab Binding)
- Double-Needle Coptic Miniature Sketchbook with a leather cover
