Discover a simplified version of the light-filled Provincetown Prints of the early 20th century.
The Cape artists were inspired by the Japanese Ukiyo-e woodcut prints of the Edo period, and
you can be, too. Learn a painterly approach to one-block color printing and explore methods
for easy and effective registration (alignment of images on the paper). Students will design and carve a 4 x 6” block and make a series of ten variable color prints.
