Seder Plate in Fused Glass Workshop

Materials fee: $145 which will be paid directly to the instructor at the time of the workshop.

In this two hour workshop you will learn the basics of glass fusing while designing and creating a large Seder Plate (13” in diameter) with glass sheets, frits and powders, stringers, confetti and copper inclusions. You will learn different ways to create the traditional letters: Passover =פֵּסַח and to describe with glass the six edible items of the Passover celebration.

Participants who already have a Seder Plate can choose to create a bowl of the same size instead.

Your instructor, Michel L’Huillier, will fire your creation in his kiln and then slump it into a special mold to give the plate its traditional shape. The Seder Plates or bowls will be available within two weeks.

Safety glasses will be provided. All levels welcome. Free parking is provided.
