Dive into the specifics of woodblock printing during this three day workshop. This class will cover topics of multi-block and reduction techniques to add depth to your prints through layering color and texture. We will build a registration board, explore carving and printing techniques, and investigate how the use of masks, stencils, reduction and additional blocks can push the boundaries of your images. This class is a great opportunity for students to ask questions and be able to work through the issues that come up when making multi-layer woodblock prints.

*There is no materials fee for this workshop, but participants will be sent a list of materials that they will need to bring.

Molly Paul is a painter and printmaker. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Museum School in Boston. She has been a member of Shepherd & Maudsleigh Studio for four years.
