Cost: $370 + $55 materials fee

Learn how to enhance your printmaking practice by creating custom handmade paper. This course will cover technical aspects of paper like fibers, sizing and sheet formation as well as experimental approaches like pulp painting and how to bring the color separation process into your papermaking practice. The sheets made in class will be best suited for relief, etching and lithograph print processes, though rule breaking is allowed.

Paper from the first session will be ready for pick-up on Thursday - so participants will have the opportunity to try out their new paper over the weekend before returning to make more!

Participants will also have the opportunity to attend additional “Open Studio” Hours following the workshop to continue their projects & use up the remaining pulp from these sessions. There will be a $45/day Open Studio fee.
