Learn the art of hand papermaking to form your very own sheets of paper! This workshop will cover the basics of making sheets of paper using a mould and deckle box. Over the three days you will learn the basics as well as having the opportunity to learn about other creative techniques like pulp painting, debossing, and more!
This contemporary deckle box method provides the best foundation for both controlling the thickness and quality of your paper as well as expanding your papermaking practice with advanced creative techniques later. Whether you want to make sheets for intaglio printing, screen printing, painting, collage, sewing or to jumpstart a new practice in creative handmade paper, you will learn how to fine tune your sheets to meet your needs!
