This two-day workshop will introduce you to the exciting possibilities of map folds for artist books. Map folds are ingenious ways to incorporate large prints or other imagery into the openings of your books. Learn a range of both historical map folds and innovative book arts forms, all designed to expand the size and scope of what a book page can hold. Come away having learned set forms as well as strategies and techniques for coming up with your own fold-outs. We will also discuss how to adjust your bindings to account for the thickness of incorporated folds.
